The 4-14 Window of Opportunity

A 2013 survey by the Nat’l Assoc of Evangelicals found that 63% of adult believers came to faith between the ages of 4-14. There’s additional strong showing for another 20% for ages 15-18 and then the faith decisions drop off drastically. As churches consider missions and church outreach, are we putting our resources where they will make the most difference? No, 85% of resources are spent on 15% of the harvest—adults. As parents, we start early with training on everything from hygiene to math. We need to start early and intentionally with spiritual training / discipleship as well.

Teach Kids is heard daily on 715 radio stations as of May 2021.
